For months, I’ve been silent here. Not because I had nothing to share, but because I was living through a season that tested me in every way possible — emotionally, spiritually, physically, and financially. To keep up with the journey, head over to this post, titled Miracles in Disguise. It unfolds my love story, pregnancy preparations, and the overall experience in preparing for a home water birth. This series stands to uncover the journey beyond that.
Since late 2024, I’ve endured a difficult pregnancy. I’ve experienced the loss of my puppy, vehicle breakdowns that drained our finances, the betrayal of a midwife who abandoned me, a traumatic birth experience, postpartum depression, and the strain of trying to hold my marriage together while caring for a fragile newborn.
And yet… I’m still here. My baby is now thriving, my marriage is healing, and I am reclaiming balance in my life and in my calling as a healer.
This comeback story is too layered for one post, so I’ve written a 4-part series that shares my journey honestly and fully:
🌑 Part 1: Before the Storm
The challenges of pregnancy, grief, and financial strain that shaped the months leading up to labor. Read it here.
❄️ Part 2: The Night It Broke
The night of January 21st, when my water broke in the middle of a snowstorm and my midwife failed to show.
🌫️ Part 3: Through the Fog
The fragile postpartum weeks filled with my baby’s weight struggles, marriage tension, and the heavy fog of depression.
✨ Part 4: Rising With Light
Where I am now: my daughter thriving, my marriage healing, and my vow to show up for my clients with integrity, presence, and compassion.
This series is not only my testimony of survival but also a reflection of what Zenified Healing truly stands for: resilience, honesty, and the choice to rise again and again.
I share my story in hopes that it brings light, encouragement, and connection to anyone walking through storms of their own.
With gratitude and love,
Deniece Tyler
